EVENTS POLICY
What time do the doors open for the event?
Doors open 30 minutes prior to the start time of all events.
Will tickets be mailed to me?
No. We do not send out tickets for events. We work from a will call registration list. When you make your purchase, you will be added to the "will call". We suggest that you print your e-ticket receipt and bring it with you to the door.
Are tickets available at the door?
Tickets are not always available at the door. Smaller galleries fill quickly, so tickets are not always available. Please call the day of event to find out if tickets are still available. Tickets are also priced higher at the door and there are no exceptions.
Are children allowed to attend?
You must be at least 18 years of age to attend. Children must attend with their parent, although we suggest not bringing children to the event.
Can I tape the event?
There are no recorders or cameras allowed. You will be asked to leave if you are caught recording an event and the tape will be taken. In some states it is illegal to record peoples voices without permission. You may record private sessions only on audio.
Can I order tickets by phone or by mail?
All ticket sales will go through our website. We do not accept checks for any events.
You may also try calling our office for events.
Does everyone get a reading?
Not everyone will get a reading. Joseph has no control as to what may come through and who it is for. The second part of the event ends with a question and answer segment. Some audience members will get a chance to ask a question about their life. During smaller venues with 20 or less people, everyone will get to ask one question.
What if I can’t make it to the event and already paid?
There are no refunds or exchanges. All sales are final.
Does Joseph read during the entire event?
No. The event is divided in segments. The first part is a briefing on his work and experiences as a medium and then Joseph will begin bringing through messages. Then there will be a break, and Joseph will return to bring through more messages. The event closes with a 20 to 30 minute questions segment.
Are seats reserved?
Seating is general admission and seats are not reserved. Seating is first come. Some events do offer priority seating.
Does priority seating guarantee me a reading or question?
No. Priority seating only will guarantee you a seat within the first two rows. This does not guarantee you a reading or question.
What if I decide I want to attend a different event?
You will have to purchase tickets for both events. We do not offer exchanges or returns. And, there are NO REFUNDS.
POLICY FOR PRIVATE READINGS
I signed up for Joseph’s monthly newsletter and have not received one. Why?
Joseph sends out his monthly newsletter within the first week of each month. If you have not received Joseph’s newsletter it could be for several reasons. The most common problem is that you have not placed newsletter@josephtittel.com on your email safe list. In not doing so, the newsletter will end up in either your spam/junk folder or trash folder. You may also sign up again on the home page of this website just to be sure you are on the list.
How long of a wait is there for an appointment?
Depending on the type of reading you want will determine how long the wait may be.
The wait could be as short as a month or up to several months. The best way to determine the wait is to call Joseph's office.
What if I want to know only about my life and future?
You should choose the 20 minute life reading. This covers present and future life issues. Also, during a one hour private session, Joseph may touch on your future and you may also ask Joseph two life questions.
Does someone come through for everyone?
Most times there is a connection with a loved one who has passed. It is very unusual for there not to be connection.
Is there a guarantee I will connect with who I want?
No. Joseph brings messages through from those who are present on the other side. There is no guarantee that Joseph will connect with the person you want to hear from.
It is important that you come with an open mind willing to receive messages from whomever comes through.
Why do I have to leave a deposit?
We have too many last minute cancellations and no show appointments. Joseph is very booked and just cannot have people cancel at the last minute.
Will I get my deposit back?
Deposits are not refundable if you cancel or even reschedule an appointment. Once you send your deposit through, it is no longer refundable. It will be deducted from your total as long as you show up, and as long as you do not cancel. There is a $50 rebooking fee for private readings and a $200 rebooking fee for Home Galleries.
What if I want to reschedule my appointment?
All appointments for Private Sessions must be rescheduled 30 days prior to your appointment. If you do not reschedule 30 days prior to your appointment, you will lose your deposit. There are no exceptions. Gift certificate cancellations will also be charged $50 to reschedule. Home Galleries must be rescheduled 30 days prior to the appointment, or you will be subject to a charge of $200.
What if I'm late for my appointment?
We will give you up to 15 minutes to show up for your appointment. If you do not show up within the 15 minutes, Joseph will take the next client, and you will lose your $50 deposit.
When is my deposit due?
For home parties and all private readings, we must receive your deposit within one week of scheduling your appointment. For phone readings, you must pay in full at the time of scheduling, or we must receive your check or money order within 7 days after scheduling your appointment.
What if I do not send a deposit?
If you do not get your deposit to us within 7 days, we will erase your appointment from our books, and we will not notify you. Deposits are the customer’s responsibility. We cannot keep calling clients because we did not receive your deposit. Your appointment will be cancelled and we will not add your name back to the waiting list if the list is closed.
Is there a refund if I'm not satisfied?
NO. There are no refunds or exchanges of any kind.
When is Joseph available?
Joseph is available Wednesday through Sunday for both home galleries and private readings. We reserve weekends mostly for home galleries, events and workshops. There is one weekend per month open for private sessions. Private and Phone readings are done between the hours of 1pm and 5pm Eastern Standard Time. All home galleries conducted on Saturdays and Sundays begin at 2pm and last two hours, not including a fifteen minute break halfway through. Week night galleries begin at you choice of 6pm or 7pm, no later.
Do you still offer classes?
Yes. Joseph offers two classes which will take place only a few times per year. Check the website events for upcoming workshops with Joseph.
Can I bring someone in the room with me during the reading?
Unless you booked a group session, then there is no one allowed to sit in during your session. There is an additional fee for anyone who sits in with you because they will also receive a connection. It is best to come to the office alone because Joseph can still pick up on people who are sitting in the waiting room.
Can I bring a recorder and record my session?
Yes. As a courtesy, Joseph will record your session and provides a complimentary CD for each session. It will take up to ten minutes after your session for us to burn that CD for you. Phone readings are also recorded and the CD can be sent to you for a small shipping fee.
What if the tape does not turn out? Will I be compensated?
No. Joseph records the session complimentary and cannot guarantee that the CD will turn out. Joseph recommends that you take additional notes during your session.
What if I paid in full & cancel my appointment?
If you pay in full and cancel your appointment completely, you will lose your payment completely unless you give us 30 days notice. With proper 30 day notice, you can reschedule with no fee or receive a refund minus the deposit fee of 50%.
Home Gallery Policy
How many guests can I have?
The base rate covers up to 10 guests. There is a additional charge for each additional guest. You may have as many guests as you like. If someone is sitting in the next room listening, they will be charged. Please make sure your home is empty with the exception of all those who are a part of the gallery.
Will everyone get a reading or get to talk to Joseph one on one?
No. There is no guarantee that everyone will get a connection from a deceased loved one. Joseph does not conduct private readings during a home gallery. The host/hostess has the option to do a questions segment during the second half of the gallery. This will allow each guest to ask Joseph one question about their life.
What if someone who is attending my gallery is late?
Please make sure your guests arrive on time. The gallery will begin at the time you have scheduled with Joseph. It may be a good idea to tell your guests that the party begins 30 minutes prior to the actual scheduled time so that they arrive on time. Joseph will begin as soon as he arrives and will not wait for late arrivals.
When is my deposit and balance due?
Your deposit of $200 is due within 7 days after booking your home gallery. Your deposit guarantees your date and is non-refundable if you cancel for any reason. Your balance is due in cash only upon Joseph's arrival to your location. We do not accept checks as a final payment. When booking your gallery, you do have the option to pay in full by credit card or check.
Can we tape the event?
You can use a tape recorder to record the event. No video cameras. Joseph will also record the event and put it on a CD for you. Have your guests take notes. There is no guarantee that the CD will turn out. You should provide paper and a writing instrument for each guest.
How long does the gallery last?
Two Hours of messages. Joseph will start the group with a short description before going right into messages from the other side. After an hour, there will be a 10 minute break. This is when alcohol may be served. DO NOT serve alcohol prior to your gallery. Plan on having Joseph at your location for two and a half hours including the introduction and break.
Can I serve food and why not alcohol?
Food may be served prior to the event and during the break. From past experiences Joseph has found that it is a very bad idea to serve alcohol to your guests prior to your home gallery. Joseph reserves the right to leave your home if alcohol is being served and if someone is intoxicated. You may begin to serve alcohol during the break.
Can children attend the gallery or be in the home?
Children under the age of 13 should not attend. There should be no distractions and no one else in the home at all except for those attending the gallery. If someone is sitting in the next room listening in, they will be counted as attending.
Will Joseph have books and CDs with him and will he sign them?
Yes. Joseph will have books and CDs available for purchase. Joseph will also sign them for you.
What if it snows?
There has to be a very significant amount of snow in our area for the gallery to be cancelled. As long as the roads are clear, the gallery will go on. Joseph will not drive if there is snow or ice on the roads.
